Cognition Rehab is an evidence-based site created to widen access to therapeutic resources for disorders of cognition.
This site is the creation of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist hoping to lessen some of the hardships that come with a diagnosis like dementia.
Caring for Someone with Dementia
Dementia diagnoses are continuing to total around 10 million every year and access to support isn’t keeping up. In the U.S., approximately 50% of the costs associated with dementia are credited to loved ones providing care such as family and friends.
Losing cognitive skills or seeing a loved one lose the ability to do things they did with ease feels helpless.
Cognition Rehab has information and activities that provide support to person with dementia (PWD).
